Bolton Abbey – The historic Abbey and priory ruins, Strid Wood, great walks and spectacular views

Buckden – Lovely Dales village in the Yorkshire Dales National Park

Burnsall – Characterised by its famous 5 arch bridge this is an archetypal Dales village on the river Wharfe

Cracoe – Quaint village between Skipton and Grassington

Embsay – Two miles from Skipton it has some great walks, Embsay Crag, a steam railway and reservoir

Grassington – Historic Dales village. Great walks, and market square. Famous Dickensian Festivals

Hawes – A quaint market town featuring its own waterfall which you can view from the bridge in its centre

Haworth – Famous for its cobbled market street and as birthplace of the Bronte family

Ingleton – Nestled in the Yorkshire Dales National Park and featuring the famous “Waterfall Trail”

Kilnsey – The “Crag” a favourite amongst  climbers and its own famous Kilnsey show, make it a favourite

Leeds – “The Capital of the North” with numerous attractions including the Royal Armouries

Littondale – Famous for its Bronze Age and Iron Age settlements

Malham – One of the most famous and popular destinations in Yorkshire with its magnificent cove and tarn

Richmond – Famous North Yorkshire market town with a cobbled market square and Norman castle

Settle – A historic market town and famous for its railway line to Carlisle over the Ribblehead Viaduct

York – Beautiful and historic walled city with its own Minster, featuring the Jorvik Viking Museum
